ScreenTamers will be an independent team that helps families set up, test, and maintain the online protections they already have access to, with real people doing the work alongside them.
The problem
Real protection has to be layered across the home router, every device, and every app. New workarounds show up constantly, and most families don't have the time or technical background to keep up.
Adults who are trying to stop harmful online habits face a second barrier: they need help that is private and discreet.
What's coming
ScreenTamers won't build, sell, or resell safety software. That independence lets us tell families the truth about which tools work.
How safe do you want to be, and what do you want to know? The answers shape a digital safety plan that fits the household.
Setups need upkeep as kids grow, devices change, and loopholes appear. We'll stay with families after installation.
Who we'll serve first
We'll start with individuals and families who need their devices locked down now, often because of pornography or gambling. From there, the service expands to families who simply want a safer home online.
Our founder already works with treatment centers, counselors, and recovery networks through Room to Heal, a recovery residence that served more than 70 men over four years.
A public-private partnership
We're pursuing a university partnership to make this affordable and sustainable.A university partner can keep pace with new loopholes, bring research and student talent, and help keep costs low, so families who need financial assistance can still get help.
